I met him at the lake.He waited so patiently as I fiddled with all the manual settings on my camera, never moving, just basking.
I really love him. Then he ran away.
My photography has been sucking as of late. At least the titles and descriptions are getting better.
But that's why I'm taking a poetry class and not a photography class, I guess.

Is there much water in the lake right now?
When I used to do a lot of nature photography I would often spend time on my belly with a 400mm lens inching forward to get closer and closer to a lizard. Then when I finally got my shot at the minimum focusing distance, I'd usually just stand up. Usually the lizard would run... but every now and again one would look at me, and say, yeah, now what?
These guys on the other hand you could probably pet and they wouldn't care. [link]

I don't know what to compare the amt of water in the lake to, so no idea.
I'm not a huge fan of nature photography, but I really fell in love with Paul.

Sometimes it's quite lakey, but other times it's more reedy. Like just a wide spot in the creek. If it basically looked like a lake that's pretty good for this time of year.

Haha, it's not the talent, it's just boring subject matter. I really detest nature photography, but I loved this little guy.
