Hello! I've been following your lovely comic for a while now, I'm really enjoying it and looking forward for the next updates. I'd like to make a question, please forgive me if this was already asked before, but what was the reasons tou choose Tapastic? There are other comic hosts like Webtoons or XOY, so what make you chose Tapas? (I'm really curious

Honestly? Because Iβve been reading comics on tapas for years. It was just a case of using whatβs familiar to me.
Β I use webtoons too, though the regular format of comics over there is quite a bit different than mine. I thought in comparison to almost every comic on the site, my updates would be very underwhelming and slow.
what people are used to seeing on webtoons are long, spaced out updates, not the classic comic page format that I use. Even though I think itβs a better site, I donβt think people would appreciate such small updates. A lot of people on there have a team of assistants, (and I would know, since Iβm one myself) but I donβt. So small updates are the only thing I can manage on my own ^^ thought theyd suit tapas more.
Anyway Iβm very happy to hear youβve been reading and enjoying my comic! Thank you :} I hope you like the rest of it too

It's still my favorite thing that his chained hand is necrotic due to the fact that he's been in that cuff forever. Nice attention to detail!

Thanks! Little things like that write themselves sometimes when you think about it! A thing small enough to trap a child wouldnβt be big enough for the same person 14 years later. If itβs still on the entire time itβs going to do quite a bit of damage!

Part of me is hoping that somehow in someway his necrotic hand is fully healed and the either his hand or the shackle is altered in someway, magical or otherwise, so that poor Rurek is no longer in any pain and his hand is no longer deformed.
But hey that just my wishful thinking.

As much as I like his chained hand, the fact that he's in constant pain just doesn't sit well with me.Β
Assuming that this story takes place in the Modern World then what we could hope for is that a cargo ship either sinks or loses a shipping container that contains boxes of Vicodin and Morphine. But of courseΒ even if Rurek figures out what they are and how to use them he risks becoming addicted and the supply would be limited.Β

The story has it's own world that isn't the Earth we know. The setting is historical fantasy-esque, to give you an idea I once designed what he would look like as a shifter:Β
As you can see, his clothes are not modern, but have that kind of historical adventurer genre kind of vibe
