Awww, rejected? Oh well, it's still an amazing redesign despite my only experience with Ghosts n' Goblins being screenshots. The bulbous dots aligning the monster's body make it almost seem cute.

Yeah it was rejected, but for reasons that made sense. It didn't look concept-y enough, which in all honesty is the truth.
The little guy looking cute, huh? Haha. I suppose he can be and kind of does look like it
