DOHOHOHO THERE SEEMS TO BE AN OPTIC CRAZE IN THE TRANSFANDOMActually, I've been meaning to do this a long time ago. I've been curious as to how many colours an optic can have. A LOT, I tell you. This is just a measly scratch of the surface! You can combine both colours on one optic, or change the colour of the 'iris'. AND EVEN THE PUPIL.
It all depends on your creativity.

My main OC's optic colour is a pale pale blue. Like the light blue on my avatar.

My headcannon is that white optics mean you are insane. So, in my book, Megatron and Starscream are both partially insane. Also, I think Soundwave has one pure white optic and one normal optic so he is constantly battling with his inner monster. And one of the reasons why he wears a mask is because his white optic moves on its own accord and he doesn't want anyone staring at his 'lucky' optic. But, I'll admit, I am a bit mad myself.

Well yeah white optics could actually mean just that. I think white optics are just the transformer hyperventilating or doing something which requires higher energy output, but eh, to each his own. XD
