Anyways, I hate giving all the โBots the same optic color. It bugs me for some reason so I gave every mech their own color.
This is mostly a guide I made to keep myself straight, but it was fun to do
I would've added more of the guys but I ran out of room D:

I adore your idea of not only one color for the Cybertronians..but different colors and shades, giving them a more human appeal. which is amazing... wonderful work

This is a very interesting guild,pretty usefull for drawers.I think in the G1 animated series they didn't had so many variations in the tones of blue(or red in the Cons' case) of the eyes,although the comics seens to show some more variations,but not that much...

I prefer to think that blue is general to bots and red is general to cons, but I like to think that any TF can have any optical colour, hence why my tf fan fic femmes have a range of coloured optics like orange, yellow, green etc.

well you can see jazz's optics in the 2007 movie they are blue but i don't know if it would be blue in G1 too... but since all autobots eyes are blue i guess he would have blue eyes lol

Oh, wow, I very much like most of these! The only one I don't like as much is Perceptor, as I like to colour his more teal to match the teal on his body. Also cos his toy has yellow eyes, and teal is a bit closer to yellow than just straight up blue. But all the others fit them perfectly!
And, like everyone else, I LOVE Jazz's censor bar. (In the only comic I have that show under the visor the optics are red. So who knows what's up with him?)
