That's... Kinda awesome. And actually kinda Christmas-esque, though I wouldn't want it around on Christmas day, per se.
It's interesting how some parts are sharper/clearer than others; was that intentional? If so, why? *curious*

Certainly! Some of the parts aren't as sharp as others because i was trying to instill a sense of amorphous movement. It's whole body is constantly re-arranging, reconfiguring. Trying to mimic a human form but never quite getting right. I toyed with the idea that maybe whatever person it faces, it takes on visual ques from.

Mmm, I really like how well thought out the picture is, it's refreshing. I think half of a work of art isn't actually on the page, it's in the artist's head beforehand as he conceptualizes the piece, what it will be, why it will be what it will be, and what it means.
But, looking at it in that light, I am struck with how well you've executed the shifting, changing quality. It's difficult to capture something intangible in art, and you've done a good job of that. Very nice ^_^

Thank you so much! That is very flattering, and well stated. ^_^
I agree, half the battle is in the mind, before it ever reaches the paper.

!!!!!!!Super!!!!!!!
Once again, I adore how this is clearly a plant attempting to look like a man rather than a man who is a plant.
The forelimb that has not reverted to a feeding growth has 6 digits, two of them thumbs on opposing sides, and the head appears to be a hollow tracery of veins rather than containing a brain or sensory organs.
I also like how the hind limbs seem weaker than the forelimbs.. seeing as it is based on a plant that hangs from another rather than growing from a stout trunk from the ground.
Thanks, django-red.
This looks so much more impressive than
Ally OOOO
written on my character sheet for Exalted!

Thank you so much! i gotta say, i love reading your descriptions. They are well written, imaginative, and awesome.
I'm also glad that i got across that it was parasitic plant attempting to look like a man. Not just some guy covered in vines and growth.
Thank you for the challenge of working on this character!
