Description When I say "back to the basics" I mean just that...


Anyone who's followed me since "another place at another time" would know that he who has many names/aliases has had many many styles and versions... styles and versions from his hair color and style all the way to color of his fur...

Now... with taking away all of the "pollutants" from "past pains" of my life... between fur colors from "past pains" and even hair styles from... well you get the picture... I've been going back more and more back to his original state before being caught up with... regrets...


Anyway....


With this updated picture I have gone back to his original form... original hair style... original fur color... that includes the muzzle fur color change...
For some years... I've been using a fur color(s) that one(s) who's hurt me before has "created" for him... but now I had to change that closer to how I had it originally... so now... this is a freshened version of who was once referred to by the community as Reothke...
(Which IS still his name... but doesn't go by the name anymore...)

Along with my "back to the basics" I have also changed up some things... that is if you notice the changes to those who follows me on here (which are normally only friends).
The braids have beads which are in the colors of "Red,White & Blue..." and I don't even need to state what that means...

I should of put up an actual bio for him for you all to see... but I've already wrote too much here... so maybe next time? <:3
I'll just say as far as his personality... it's pretty much equivalent to mines.... as he is in fact.... me... in "this world"...

I do 100% agree with you there with that concept... better to take a while to see a more effort art job than to see a "1 minute rush rush" that turns to be a total and uttered mess of things (not to be bashing any artist who actually do that or anything) ... but I agree with you none of the less~

Awesome pic, bro! I love how Rune's tail makes a heart at the end. And I did notice the colored beads on his braids, which was a nice touch.
I think it's good to go back for a refreshed start.

Yeah the "heart tail" is kind of one of my trademarks now. The colored beads are for... well you know the meaning of the colors~
I'm glad to know that me being back to a refreshed start is a good thing.

As far as how I've been... I would say "nothing out of the ordinary" but certain things "outside of dA" are causing me major grief these days... so pretty much a little worse than ordinary these days... but it is kind of still "nothing out of the ordinary" ...
But it's no worries about the timing of your comments... considering I've been slipping these days majorly due to personal stuff... which is causing me grief..

I am happy see a new refernce pic of yours, and is good return to basics - is where we frequently find our true roots, the basis where everything came from! I see that you keep the "basic" one, with the braids and the tail, as well the basic mobian design

Yes a "new" reference this is... or.. an "original" reference with some... "enchantments" ... but the plus side is that everything on this "update" of Rune is "all me".
Yes I did in fact keep the very expressive and life-full eyes and smile among other things... and yes... I had... well I actually still have many problems... but I'm still trying to get through them all... trying is all I can do. I'm glad that you feel this is the best of Rune here... it's a classic after all! XD

Well... the most I can really ask of anyone is to just not abandon me... and just be there for me... these days I really just need a caring person... one of those who I trusted more than anyone has truly let me down and really hurt me... not to mention me becoming sick again among other illnesses that I have... made me feel worse... I just need someone who cares... someone who won't abandon me.. to just be there...
