This sheet's got a bit more texture to it than some of your previous works (particularly in the linework). You been doing anything different?

Well I just got a New tablet, so that might have a it to do. But also I've realized I've been simplifying my style a bit to much lately, so I'm going back to drawing in all the little lines and details like I use to, except this time I'm more skilled with my line work and shading, so I'm getting better at adding all the little details, while still keeping the lines smooth and the shading looking better. So as a result I can get alot more levels of shape, shading, and tones than I use to.
I'm glad you noticed, and that it's coming out in my drawings. This is how I've always pictured my style, but I just didn't have the skill to make it look this nice until now. XD

Well so far so good! It really ups the visual interest. I'd say don't abandon your simplification, but instead start treating simplification as a distillation of design and shapes. You might avoid sterility if you look to how other cartoonists treat simple linework. Straights against curves and all that jazz. And don't be afraid to play with brushes to get a more textured appearance.

His description reminds me of the movie "American Psycho", only Harvey looks way cooler than Christian Bale

He is very much like American Pyscho, I won't deny that. XD But Harvey actually has his own fully fleshed out back story, plus he actually does kill people, rather than imagining the whole thing.
And yeah I still have to draw him killing people... I spent alot of time drawing him just as he usually is to present him to the audience as a person first, killer later. I didn't want people liking him just cause he kills people. XD

Well originally I gave him less defined (more Irish) features, his nose was very un defined and his mouth was basically just a line. And it worked with his heritage, but it made it hard to draw him in some ways, because it prematurely aged him, with the more refined features I can add more lines to his face and give him a bit more detail without worrying about making him look like an old dude, specially since Harvey prides him self at looking young and handsome.

It's always good to define the features instead of leaving it a default face (which most beginners do). Gives them more character, which all of your characters have. Besides, I love studying different male faces

I love tacky black and gold 1970's jewelry and all that yuppie black and gold office decor. It's so over the top "I love money and style" and it cheapens quickly. I love it though. Every time I go antique shopping and I see like a black and gold desk lamp with black marble and gold pieces, I ALWAYS wanna buy it. XD And I always think of Harvey when I do haha.

Hahah, I never thought of Harvey as a big football fan? But if he's a New York Jets fan he probably doesn't like any other team at all (living in New York means I'm surrounded by arrogant annoying Jet fans -_- )

Haha exactly, Harvey's not one for football really, he really enjoys watching baseball games and gambling on them. I mean I can't imagine growing up in the poorer part of New York in the 50's and 60's and not being big on football/baseball.
But he's definitely not a paint your face green type. XD He'd be the guy watching from the boxes drinking brandy and having business discussions. Though, once he's locked up at Clinton Correctional, they have a prison Baseball team and diamond, he does enjoy going out at watching them play, so he finds some comfort in it, even if it's not his big league teams.
Haha he's not an arrogant jets fan, but he is a total racist asshole so that's not much better. XDD

LOL Harvey at a hockey game. I could see him being UTTERLY HORRIFIED that poor people amuse them selves at watching Canadian men on ice skates and sticks beat the tar out of each other. So not classy. (Harvey's opinion of course, I love Hockey XD) hahaha. Harvey's such a prude.
