Thanks Dennis. I wandered out there twice while I was camped at Indian Gardens. Nice view of the inner gorge and river from there as well as the Bright Angel trail you just came up. Intimadating from the rim but is is easily a day hike. A nice trail you can even do with a headlight if inclined to catch the sunrise or sunset.
