Thanks. I was up in Dinosaur about five years ago but all I had then was a Fuji, non DSLR. For me the photos serve their purpose but not really suitable for posting. After reading Powell and Dellenbaugh I'd really like to sign up with a rafting trip thru some portions of the Green River in there. So much history in there.

I did the raft trip from Green River, Utah down to Hite Crossing last year. What a different perspective from water level.

We've caught those same clouds at Arches... wish we would see them wherever we go since they sooo enhance the photographs!!!

Excellent use of HDR imaging. It works quite well here and gives a more unique twist to an oft photographed location.

The RAW had the good clouds but it was lacking the detail in the shadows of the arch before I went with the HDR. Maybe a little to over the hill for vibrance but I'm happy with it.

It's hard not to get a good shot of Delicate. The HDR just added some Pizzazz to the color.

What a great photo! I like the wispiness of the clouds and the blue of the sky contrasting with the raw, red rocks. The lighting is great as well, with the long shadows and everything being lit so well. Beautiful shot!

It's hard not to take a good picture of Delicate Arch. The original had the shape but not the color I wanted. The HDR fixed that nicely.

I think it's the primary colors RGB. Red rock, blue sky and green pinyon pine.

The arch is pretty amazing by itself without the assist from the HDR. Thanks also for the favorite.

It's this kind of photo that really shows off how HDR can really enhance a photo. It's subtle but strong enough to make you look twice. A very beautiful photo - well done!
And yes, I am a little jealous...would love to see this place for myself!

There was so little color on the shaded side of the original so I thought I'd give Photomatix a try. That and the clouds turned out good. Thanks also for the favorite.

*sigh*
I've lived in UT my whole life, and yet I've never seen this outside of a photograph.
In fact, the only Nat. Park I've been to in UT is Zion. While it has a beauty of it's own, it's still not quite the same as being able to see them all.

On the plus side, you're to young to have to start a bucket list, but you really need to see it someday. Thanks also for the favorite.
