Description
In the year 2345, Humanity developed a technology that gave them the ability to Terraform Mars into a more suitable environment that could allow Humans to live on the planet without the need for pressure suits and breathers.
for years Humanity worked to better their lives on the newly formed Mars, what was once a Barren and inhospitable place was now a shining beacon of hope for a dying Earth.
in 2410 a mass Exodus began to permanently colonize Mars.
many remained on Earth to help to heal the scars left by man.
For 350 years Mars and Earth pushed forward into an uncertain future. in the year 2760 after many Generations had been born, the people of Mars began speaking out against Earth demanding Independence and the rights to establish a new Government that would better suite those who called Mars their Homeworld.
The Governments of Earth did not see the point of allowing a "Free Mars" and quickly denied these demands. 2 years later an unknown group of terrorist detonated Nano bombs in four major cities on Earth. New York, London, Tokyo, Baghdad were completely disintegrated killing millions.
In retaliation the USF sent a fleet of Warships to Mars. these Vessels were tasked to lay waste to the surface of the Planet until it was decided that no more resistance would take place.
at the time over 3.5 billion Human beings called Mars their home and in just 3 weeks nothing remained but blazing cities and burning skies.

Inspired heavily by the RF games
i have always wanted to do a Mars that had been terraformed i didnt actually make the texture i found that on yahoo i believe lol. anyway this was also a first try at making City lights.
the city lights are made out of 4 layers of random white dots. it was tedious to say the least, there must be hundreds of them O_o i thne adjusted each layers Opacity until i was happy with how they looked.
the story was just for the hell of it btw lol.
