Description
2004 BC Summer Games this year held in Abbotsford. The runners were blurred purposely using a slower shutter speed and by not panning because I wanted to try to focus less on the atheletes and more on the overall surroundings to give more of an overall sense of the games. Dunno if it worked haha. I know it is a bit blurry (from camera shake), but it was one of the first times I was on the field and sitting RIGHT beside the track lines with sprinters hurdling down at you can be a bit nerve racking :S This was also shot on film using I think around a 17-20mm focal length.. so I was really close.
