Another commission. Based on a toy that turned Marvel Comic, ROM Spaceknight!2.5"x3.5" Watercolor over inks.

I've only recently heard of this guy, and I am AMAZED that they were able to create such an advanced and awesome mythos around what was originally, just a single TOY.

Yeah, from Toy to comic then again look at Pirates of the Caribbean. It turned theme ride to movie lol. Anything can happen if you have the right creative minds behind it I say.

hey man i don;t know why but i've seen this piece more times then i can remember here. but for some reason when i finally took a closer look at it one day i really started to like it especially once i realized this was a sketch card sized piece.

well, for some reason it did. but i did take the time to check out the rest of your gallery and i have to say i was really impressed. among other things you have a knack for drawing very dramatic perspective poses well. plus you actually bother to reply to comments which is cool of you too.

Not just that but people take the time to drop by to look at your stuff, which is great already, but if they're going to actually take out time to type out a comment?! Sweet you captured his look down Love this!! I'm also trying to rally the troops if you loved the comic to let Marvel he stop teasing us with the characters from his book and give us our Spaceknight! Dude that is so funny! When I got my first pair of readers a couple years ago I never thought I’d use em for doing art. It just didn’t feel natural wearing them at first for anything other then reading comics or newspapers. Sucks getting older.

Well, Marvel's part of Disney now, so who knows what'll happen to all their old licensed characters. I wouldn't be surprised if ROM made a come back.
