I loved playing the first 3 for sure, but everything after that...was eh...I'm so happy they went back to what worked for the first 3 games for MK 9. It's like an updated version of the first 3 for the next generation of gamers.

I don't have a next gen console, I'm only a pc gamer these days, but I've seen all the videos of MK9 on youtube and damn...makes me want to get the damn game. I honestly believe MK9, right now by far, is the best fighting game of all time. With all the unlockables, characters, and fun it offers compared to say..Street Fighter, there is no contest.

Ah I see. I was always better in Street Fighter and MK style games myself. I never liked the 3d ones like Tekken or Vitual Fighter.

I think this is why I think fighting games belong in the 2d level, movement wise, but can have 2-d graphics. Which is why I suppose they brought MK 9 to the way they did and even Street Fighter never went total 3d movement like Tekken. Combos and blocking? Yeah, lol, the primary elements of being a good fighting game player.

Yeah, graphically speaking its amazing and it being live action with no hitting pause button to sort inventory and what not puts more "heart pump" into the action.

Well Leon's cool and all, especially from R4, but I like Chris too. He's the older more experienced guy. Besides, R5 has updated graphics and mechanics and continues the story along.

I usually just use the mine thrower after hitting a bell or breaking something lol and ran like a girl once I attached a mine to their backs.
