This was done as a birthday present for my Aunt! I'd love to hear your thoughts about the piece.

My style and application is still very rough. At the same time though, I don't want to overwork it - I'd like to preserve the sort of raw and fluid movement that a more rough painting possesses. It's hard to find that happy middle ground.

I used Adobe Photoshop CS2 exclusively! About 85% of the painting was a mixture of the hard round brush and the textured hard round. I varied the opacity throughout to create the gauche / watercolor effect.

I used a Wacom Intous 3 Tablet! It lasts forever - I've had it for 10 years!
