..... Star swirl was supposed to become an alicorn right? But he didn't make it to that point. I wouldn't be surprised if he excelled where twilight failed. A.K.A Family relations. You'd think with such an amazing B.B.B.F.F., that Twilight, with her thirst for knowledge, would learn from Shining and gain her own sibling skills, and use them on Spike, but NNNNNOOOOOOO!
........................Is this why there was such a big fuss when she became alicorn? Because people felt she was undeserving of her title, because she FAILED a previous lesson? It's like computer science class, you can't take any of them if you don't take introduction to computer studies first. How can one become a "Princess of friendship", when they have were a "dunce" in family relations, which is pretty much the first relationship you EVER MAKE after being born?!
