Oh yeah ....... the lady card sharp does indeed look as if she is playing with light, and playing for keeps. All the feel of a woman who has the game rigged in ways where she can beat whatever number and kinds of cards you have in your hand with just her one. Accepting nothing less than your life as the table stakes when bets are being placed in the hostess' house of harrowing cards. Her Royal Highness playing the death card while she is cast in the glow of the infernal furnaces of hell perhaps; offering you a game for all the marbles -- if you don't mind losing and spending forever in the eternal ebony emptiness as she rakes the light of your life out of the pot, off the table, and into the cleft of her cleavage along with all that she has corruptly acquired before. No doubt the last light you will see as her hooligans have you dragged out of the casino is when she demands that you give her a farewell light for her cigarette. For old time's sake.Β
