I'd love to know what softwares you use. Do you make a low poly in MAX/MAYA, then take it to a sculpting software? Do you use any retopologising software? Also, do you texture directly on the model, or paint in photoshop?
I'm sorry for all the questions, but I'm very curious as to how you created such a beautiful model. *_*

In this case - body modeled in zbrush from base lowpoly body template that was created in maya quite some time ago, gun - base shapes in maya, then details in zbrush. Then retopo in maya, then bakes in xNormal (ao, normalmap (for cavity), bent (world space) normal for green channel (top light)) then fix some minor stuff in PS on cylindrical shpes, then lowpoly AO, then compose all maps, then flat colors in ps, then all that in 3dcoat and paint texture under all that maps both in 3dcoat and PS (ctrl+p - texture does to PS with all layers, ctrl+alt+p - snapshot does to PS with all layers and additional light layer). Then fix some stuff over that all painted layers, then skeleton on lowpoly in maya, posing and rendering in unity or marmoset.

А черт его знает На самом деле тут можно довольно прилично подчистить топологию - так как спешил забил на оптимизацию
