Hah, you go right down for flair when it comes to capturing just about every homage aspect imaginable when you come out with these paintings. Again, did a comparison and the resemblance is quite striking in terms of pose and expression and even right down to that draped bit of cloth by her side. Chun Li's face kind of reminds me of Sandra Bullock here especially with the eyes. Have to extend major props to you on this one, dude.

Yeah, I dunno, the vibe just came to me. Glad it isn't only me who sees it. Certainly is a compliment; Sandra Bullock is one of my favorite actresses, haha.
Mm, well, it's however you wish to further approach this series. Maybe you'd find it interesting to do a series like this where you deal with more cartoonish type characters, like Kirby or King Dedede or even Bowser? Although given your preference for human characters I can see why you might prefer to stay the course on that.
