im about to post a lot of schoolwork, watch out!this is an environment scene for my character design class
we had to make designs for the poem "jabberwocky" by lewis carroll, here's my beamish boy and jubjub bird, with lots of borogoves and tumtum trees

I love this style, it reminds me of the stylized backgrounds in a few of the seventies Warner Brothers cartoons. The recent Google celebration of Disney's Mary Blair also brought that to mind.

i adore the scenery!! it has a bit of a mary blair touch to it but it remains distinct. i really like this visual take for jabberwocky a lot better than anything i can think of. the textures and elements are nicely balanced and everything look so well as a whole, the colour choices are fantastic too!! aa sorry i goosh gush

I love all the strange colors and interesting patterns in this so much, they all come together so nicely. The weird puzzle-like texture of the tree and the unusual colors of the bird really grab my attention above all else.
