I really really did not like the first attempt. Reminded me more of something that I would make for Ursula rather than Aurora. Granted Aurora is the one Disney Princess that I can't stand...but still!
So...I took it apart and I like the second attempt much better. Fits what I had in mind better than the first. Tell me...based on this link...do you agree?---------------->[link] <--------------------

Fascinating selection of beads for the second one. They really do compliment the pendant quite nicely.
And the first attempt does have a bit more mermaid-like quality to it. I wouldn't say enough to be Ursula-wise but if the selection of beads were blues and greens, maybe? I dunno, I think both are cute.

It is a very pretty necklace but it is not for me.
It feels like something is missing, like you forgot to add something to it..
But that is only my opinion!
Maybe I think of how I would have designed it and that's not right because you did!

Well there are now two of you (that I really expect honesty from as well as any type of criticism) that really do not like the necklace. Its fine with me. But this helps me identify what exactly went wrong.

Thank you my dear. And I did let it go. Trust me...I rather like it. But that is how the trend goes. Also...I have had more compliments on this than any of my other necklaces so I guess other people outside of my circle are taking notice.

I agree! In the first one, the wavy purple strand just doesn't do it so much for me. It just seems...off. I like the second one so much better
