Description
This is my pick for the Riddler if they made a serious, non-goofy or campy Batman movie in the 1960s.Reason for Casting: To be honest, I haven't seen a lot of Vincent Price's work, and I'm actually basing this casting decision on one particular role. And that role was Professor Rattigan in The Great Mouse Detective (yes, I like Disney Animated Movies, but who doesn't?). Mainly, his performance as Rattigan would also make a good 60s Riddler. Rattigan was intelligent, egotistical, and was surprisingly really giddy. It was like he was having so much fun being a villain. That pretty much fits an interpretation of the Riddler that I would like to see (he's egotistical and giddy, mainly because he thinks he's so intelligent that he can outsmart and stump the police). All-in-all, Price would make a good 60s Ridler for a serious Batman film.

Ok this is just perfect ! Vincent Price is my favorite actor , and while I enjoyed his performance as Egghead in the 1960s Batman show ,I do think he would have been MAGNIFICENT as the Prince of Puzzles!

I couldn't agree more on choice for a man of inquisition and intellect played by a man who's voice tends to speak that very stuff or at times even a sense of intimidation or threat, but still nonetheless very charming.
In simpler terms, I LOVE VINCENT PRICE! <3

Also, here's another reason as to why perhaps Price should be the Riddler or a similar villain in a serious, 60's Batman film. He did an EGG-cellent job as an Egg-head villain in the humorous Adam West "Batman TV series that surely made audience members CRACK up.

He was Eggman in the original series, actually. ^^ I think he would have made a fantastic Riddler too. ^^

Interesting. I assume that Egghead had a corny schtick on the show?

Yup. He made horrible egg puns. xD And Price very often would toss eggs at Adam West and the dude who played Robin in good fun. When asked to stop, he replied "with a full artillery? Not a chance!"

Sounds like a fun villain.
And the 60s show wasn't that bad since Batman was still heroic and trying to bring criminals to justice.
In fact, I prefer the campy 60's show to Frank Miller's All Star Batman and Robin.

It's Mr. Price. Can't go wrong with his villains. x3
Oh I quite agree. I love that version of him.

Ah, a classic Disney connoisseur we got here! RIP, Vincent. You would've been great playing the Riddler.
I also have two new casting deviants on the way for Huntress and Stephanie Brown.

Yup. I have a big soft spot for their films, probably because they provide such classic villains and musical numbers.
Nice. Can't wait to see who you pick.

Thanks. I think I might include my picks for a 60s Joker.

Same here. It was goofy and silly, but still understood the basics of Batman. Plus, it's better than the Schumacher films.

At least the 60s show didn't feel like a 90 minute long toy commercial with gratuitous close ups on Bat-nipples and Bat-asses.
