This is my pick for Solf J. Kimblee.Reason for Casting: Tom is more or less a perfect fit for Solf J. Kimblee, a gentlemanly sociopath who delights in his "artful destruction" of explosion alchemy. He aims to make it as "beautiful" as possible in scope, destructive capability, and sound (sound being the most important criterion based off his keen ear for explosives and manic delight for loud eruptions). Tom showed that he had all the qualities for Kimblee in his performance as Loki in Thor and The Avengers. He's great at playing sophisticated, suave, intelligent, and charismatic. So he's an ideal candidate for the role.

My personal choice for Kimblee is Michael Ian Black . If you ever watched the mock infomercial show You're Whole on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network then you might understand why, on You're Whole he is a dead ringer for Kimblee. I swear! I can't watch that show without seeing Kimblee selling self help videos.Β

You should. He has the right type of twisted snarkyness that is so Kimblee and he wears his hair in a black ponytail like Kimblee does in Brotherhood.

Awesome Kimblee, he was a major contender for the role in my fancast, though I think I'll end up casting either Gustaf SkarsgΓ₯rd because that dude was batshit in Vikings, or Zachary Quinto because THAT dude was a sadistic f**k in Heroes. Β Β

Reading the information about this guy, I figured Benedict Cumberbatch would be a good alternate after seeing him in the Star Trek trailers and TV spots. Then again, this guy and Michael Fassbender blew up something serious in 2011, so I'll bite the bullet for this one.

I have Cumberbatch as a different character. Hiddleston just immediately popped into my mind when I saw Kimblee in the anime.
