Continuing on with the Hellsing castings, we now reach two of the series' main antagonists, Enrico Maxwell and the Paladin, Father Alexander Anderson of the Iscariot Organization. Like I said with Seras' casting, the next few, with the Dandy Man, the Major, and directors being the exceptions, there will be two roles mentioned instead of one. So expect a duel casting for the Valentine brothers and the younger versions of Walter. The reason for this is because, honestly, I didn't have enough choices to fill out the entire nine choices, so I had to combine a few. In the case of Maxwell, as you see here, I only had four choices, which are as follows: Harry Lloyd, Tom Hiddleston, Tom Felton, and Robert Pattinson.

As for Anderson, there were a few more that I didn't get to put here, such as Ewan McGregor and Jude Law, but there weren't nine choices in total for him. Besides those two, the ones I have here are as follows: Gerard Butler, Kevin McKidd, Antony Starr, Pablo Schreiber, and Steven Brand. Of the choices for the two roles, my two current choices are Lloyd and Butler, the latter of which seems to be everyone's choice for Anderson. It makes sense as not is Butler Scottish like Anderson, but he's well-known for starring in action flicks, which, let's be honest, will be part of a live action adaptation of Hellsing. I haven't seen Lloyd mentioned as Maxwell, since, funny enough, Hiddleston seems to be the most popular choice among fans. I know I have him as Alucard, and a role you all will see later, but I can certainly see why he's fancasted for Maxwell. He's got the right look, voice, and attitude for the part.

Butler was one of the choices for Alucard by spiderxand, and while that's not a bad choice as he'll have fun in the role no doubt, I think he's a bit better suited for Anderson, even if I'm not opposed to him playing Alucard at all. Also, while I have Brand as Renaldo, I figured I might as well place him here as well since he voiced Anderson in the English dubs of both the original series and the OVAs, so he certainly wouldn't be a bad choice. But those are just my thoughts. What do you all think? Who should play Maxwell and Anderson? I think one thing to consider is how well the two actors will play off each other, so be sure to consider that when you name the two actors you would choose.

As you can see, Hiddleston is leading by 60% while Butler and Depp are tied for second at 20%, but that could very well change. I will be doing this for each casting in the months leading to October, so expect a poll for Integra next month in April, one for Walter in May, one for Seras in June, and one for these two in July. This will continue for the other castings as well. Voting will last until the end of each month, and whoever has the most votes by the end of it will be the finale casting I go with. And I will link the poll in the description of each new posting, be it a request or something else. This will also include the duel castings and director choices, all of which be based on what comments I get on the post. The only exception will be the director choices, which will last until the start of the 13 Days of Halloween.
