lights that last foreverthe surface was sublime,
you had to touch it
to really connect
with what I was trying to lay down
it's all spilling out lately,
she just called it spillage,
and once said,
“not everything you say or think
have to be seen or heard.”
think she could be right
there is no doubt she fit the bill
otherwise she would never have spoke
lights that last forever
into the slippery wetness,
I watch the river soar by
at times it slows unplanned
untold tales of the river,
like Painted Woods below the tree-line
from the days remains
like the deeds undone
and what the eve will bring

the caves are cool
and the nights are full of almost a carnival feel

yes.....and sleep
the celestial light shows after 11pm often get too much
plus the Starships passing over like flocks of geese
cast ominous shadows over the Martian plains.
A real feel of an almost a dinosauric apparition.
Even the Beatles come through and do a periodic appearance with Judy Garland often in the crowd along the Martian dunes.
The dunes are called 'The Unfolders'
Never really got that.

they are called "The Unfolders" cause they unfold every second Martian year (which of course is a spectacular, yet frightening sight)...due to periodically returning solar activity interfering with the gravitation of the Mars' two moons Phobos and Deimos....and by the way the moon Phobos is responsible for the term phobia (and related)....you definately have missed something.
