Description
Just finished those two guysOn the front is a new design (VT-5), it looks and works almost the same as VT-3 (on the back).
Main changes are inside: more compact wiring and new specialized IC.
What can be seen is uncovered display (which makes it look more "brutal", two-dots divider (still cant tell which I like more, I really should make it choosable at last
Over here you can see it standing on computer for sizes comparison

I like the use of what I presume is a quartz crystal on the clock; it gives it a unique (and logical) look. It's something you don't see that much, if at all on most steampunk clocks. Which is a missed opportunity in my opinion.

Now you made me feel awkward
Unfortunately, this tube is just a decoration , vacuum quartz crystals are hard to find and they cost a lot, also they not as accurate as modern microchips with thermocompensation. Inside of this clock two resonators are used, but they're so tiny you hardly see them.
But it's still my biggest dream to make something with actually working vintage components

I didn't know there were vacuum quartz crystal tubes. Nah, I figured the tube on there was only decoration.
I was referring to the blue "crystal" on the left wrapped in the copper coil. It gives off that vibe of steampunk that still partially runs off of magic stored in crystals.
You'll have to make sure you post pictures of your working vintage parts contraption on here when you make it. It will be cool to see what you come up with.
