This is a preview of my contest entry for 's Black and White Vs. Color contest. This is not my actual entry. I just thought you all would like a sneak peek. This is the "before" image.

It does need more work (like a background for one thing). This will be photoshopped to death. I will smooth out the colors for both mermaids, as well as their swords. The color mermaid will also have her hair adjusted. She will still keep the rainbow pattern.

The chosen background is already finished. Once the mermaids are painted over in photoshop and placed on the background, this pic will go in scraps. But considering its popularity, I might not scrap it.
