After coming out of retirement from the Pokemon series, my travel agent led me to the Sinnoh region, and suggested it would be a great way to sharpen my skills using the skills I learned in the five years or so I spent playing the Yellow, Gold, and Crystal versions.

Remind me to give that guy a raise.

After many days of training a brand new party, and wiping the floor with every trainer who got in my way, and cruching Team Galactic, I found my way to the Pokemon League. I stood at the doorway and gave my team a pep talk. I then ran through the door shouting “LEEROOOOOOOOY JEEENKIIIIINS!”

I defeated each of the Elite Four without losing anyone, and entered the final room. I locked eyes with the occupant. She was breathtakingly beautiful, with long blonde hair and a black outfit.

“Who is this gorgeous woman I see before me?” I asked.

“I am Cynthia, and I am the champion of this region. I accept your challenge as Pokemon League Champion. There won't be any letup from me!"

“I’ve been retired from the series for five years, and I’ve travelled throughout this region looking for an opponent worthy of my skills. Do not disappoint me.”

Cynthia is the greatest champion I’ve ever challenged. Six very strong Pokemon, most of which were about three levels above me, perfect IVs (meaning their stats are as high as they can get at their level), and a moveset that could make anyone cry. And that’s not saying anything on her INCREDIBLY AWESOME battle music that will get your blood pumping!

After a good five minutes of battling, Cynthia’s last Pokemon went down; Gallade took out her Garchomp with a critical hit from Ice Punch. After the smoke cleared, I was in tears. All my years I never fought anyone as tough as her, and I enjoyed every minute of it. She was also excited having crowned Sinnoh’s latest champion. I walked right up to her and shook her hand. She then autographed my book.

“You are the best trainer I’ve ever fought.” I said.

Years later, I would find her at a beach house in Undella Town during spring. We attract crowds when we battle, and fighting her perfect team is the highlight of my day! And she’s one of those trainers that gets excited when you battle her, and you will as well. Who else in the games are you going to fight that will give you a good challenge?

I used multiple cosplayers for this picture, and screenshots from the anime to make sure I could get her colors as accurate as possible. And I've got her eyeing a Poke Ball that likely contains Garchomp. You better hope you have Ice Beam, or that Garchomp is going to knock you down!
