*Her fans scream with delight*

“So…you have chosen death.”

I told you guys not to cheer too loud.  Now you’ve doomed us all!

This is Sailor Hatterene.  It is a Psychic/Fairy type with a base stat total of 510.  It evolves from Hatenna at Level 32, and again from Hattrem at Level 42.  It is a female-only species with no male counterpart, although it shares many similarities with the male-only Impidimp line, and they could be considered counterparts of each other.  Its abilities are Healer (30% chance of healing status conditions for her or her ally), Anticipation (shudders when the enemy knows a one hit KO or super-effective move), and rarely Magic Bounce (reflects status moves at the attacker).  The evolutionary family is based on the concept of witches, who were believed to draw their magic from their hair.  Having hair longer than their bodies also brings Rapunzel to mind.  It is capable of Gigantamaxing.

It may look shapely, but it really isn’t.  The real Hatterene is only about 1/3 its size.  The rest of its body is all formed from its magical hair.  She has taken lessons from Bayonetta it would seem.  Rather than attack with its hair, it uses the tentacle that grows from the top of its “hat,” looking a lot like a long ponytail.  Being inspired from witches, I named mine Salem, after the famous witch trials, and the antagonist from RWBY.

Don’t let this Pokémon’s cuteness fool you.  This thing is one of several Fairy types that are actively malevolent (the other being the aforementioned Impidimp line).  Behind those adorable, alluring faces is death.  Make a loud noise around it, and it will tear you apart with the claws on its tentacle.  Its pre-evolution isn’t much nicer.  It will “silence you violently” should you bring strong emotions near it.  Despite sharing types with the Ralts line, they are definitely evil counterparts of them in every way.  They’re so adorable you want to hug them, but if you tried to, they might kill you.  Are you willing to risk that?

Aren’t they just the cutest psychopaths you’ve ever seen??  I bet Queen Malanite would love to get her hands on one of them, mass produce them, and send them loose in crowded places once she’s blocked all the exits.  I would imagine the aftermath will just be pools of blood and corpses everywhere, these Pokémon wandering the streets covered in the blood of their victims, looking for anyone to make another loud noise.  Queen Malanite would likely call them harvesters.

I hope that if you train it, it gets used to you, and no longer has these murderous thoughts or her bad temper once you max out its happiness.  Mine smiles at me when we camp occasionally, but that smile sends chills down my spine.  I don’t know if she’s actually happy to see me, or if she’s about to go into yandere mode.  I get enough of yandere mode from Queen Malanite.

Her weapon is the Goddess Whip from Dragon Quest 9, among other games as well.  This whip was chosen because of her Gigantamax form’s nickname:  The Raging Goddess.  It has been recolored to match Hatterene’s tentacle, as well as have the same weighted end like the tentacle has.  The finger-like ends of the tentacle were replaced with retractable blades, which she can control when they come out.  Whether the weight hits you or the blades do makes no difference to her.  Although her physical strength is above average (90, with a max value of 306), this weapon draws from her magic strength, which is significantly higher (136, maxing out at 408), when determining damage.  That is going to draw blood if it hits you, and it may also inflict Silence on you as well, preventing you from using magic, or screaming.  She can also bind you with her hair, which she can freely control.  It can stretch, but only about three times the length of her body (the whip reaches farther).  She can lift many times her own weight with it, and prefers to slam you into the ground or squeeze the life out of you while you’re suspended in the air.  Hatterene can be quite cruel when she wants to.  I’m starting to wonder if Queen Malanite’s influence has affected her, but only when she fights.

Since Hatterene is angered by loud noises, I designed her after someone who does ASMR.  For clarification, they whisper everything they say, and you’d be surprised how relaxing this is when you need help going to sleep.  I listen to a lot of ASMR before bed, but there’s only one out there who I listen to the most.  She calls herself MissASMR.  One look at her and you’ll know why I listen to her often, and why I picked her to model for Sailor Hatterene.  If her looks don’t do it for you, her soothing voice will.

She may be modeled after MissASMR, but that’s the only thing they have in common.  They certainly do not share a personality.  MissASMR is very warm and friendly; Hatterene not so much.  She was given very long hair just like her namesake, going past her knees.  Her hair almost seems to form a cape.  The Witch’s Hat she wears was dyed to match her hair color and it strengthens her spells a bit, as well as prevents Silence from affecting her, and prevents enemies from draining magic out of her.  It may actually be her hair.  How did she do that?  The hat replaces the tiara; I saw no point in her wearing both.  Her sailor suit was designed to resemble the “body” of Hatterene itself.  It may possibly be made of her hair as well that she had colored, but she won’t tell me.  The skirt is longer than I usually draw for my Senshi, but I still wanted it to stop above her knees, so she can wear knee boots.  She is shown casting a spell.  When chanting the incantation for her spells, she always whispers.  Unless you’re nearby, you don’t know what she’s going to throw at you until it gets launched toward your face.

Attacks:

Psyshock:  Sailor Hatterene showers her target with projectiles, inflicting damage based on their physical defense rather than magic defense.

Draining Kiss:  Sailor Hatterene gets close to her target and blows a kiss to her victim, which makes her steal their life energy from them.  75% of the damage inflicted restores her health.

Mystical Fire:  Sailor Hatterene sends fire toward her target.  After it does damage, it reduces the strength of her victim’s magic power.

Power Whip:  Sailor Hatterene’s whip glows brightly, which allows her to strike her target four times with it.  Each hit does slightly less damage than the one before it.  The whip’s ability makes this attack magical based.

Nice, I love the look for her. Also, nice to make them all not the nicest people out there. Especially the use of pastels to give off that friendly vibe, before she skills you.
