Description
Here is a unique model, when I was growing up, one of my favorite Mega Force toys was the Triax Strikemaster.
So when I was rebuilding my collection I wanted more than one. The second one I ordered off of ebay however was in rough shape, I had to order a third to take it's place.
It had very discolored plastic from the sun, play wear, and the decals were trashed. Rather than throw it out, I figured since I was already making Mega Force decals for other models I would give it a few tweaks and a custom paint job.

The only physical changes I made were drilling out the structural holes and main gun barrels on the carrier and the addition of two rocket nozzles to the empty space on the back of the spaceplane.

I just happened to have a spray can of a pearlish color that matched to original off-white almost perfectly.
After that I painted as many details as I could and them printed my own decals (and added a few extra.

All in all I am very pleased with the result.
