I've been wanting to redo this piece for the longest time now. It was one of my earliest, and is still one of my favorites, but my style has evolved and my skills grown since then, and I wanted to give it a proper treatment. ^-^Related content

Aaahhahahaha. I was just talking with a buddy of mine the other day about how I tend to unwittingly recycle the same few poses and facial expressions in all my art. That particular pose and expression were how I first learned to draw ponies, so even today I unintentionally just follow the same pattern. I draw a disproportionate number of my characters facing to the left. And apparently I'm big into smiles and scrunched noses, too.
