Completely honestly though I can't tell if your comments are intended to be lowkey passive aggressive or if you're just pointing out the fact that they're both headshots on a base and if I'm only reading it in that tone because of the small text haha.

nono they don't have any aggressivity in them, I just was asking myself if it would be any problem if I'd do similar icons. Haven't people told you something like "oh what a ripoff of Rrrrai" or something?
I'm more than afraid that some people will say that to me if I'd do headshot icons which look similar. As said, no aggressivity, just asking what your experience is by doing them

Ah ^^ I see, that makes sense! I mean, rrrai's icons are a pretty basic format, so as long as you're not copying her stylistically I don't think it would be a problem :0
Really though, doing something remotely similar to a popular artist there's bound to be some people accusing of stealing, but if you know you're not then what does it really matter? It seems like usually the people who get salty about things like that aren't the people who would be buying/enjoying the icons anyway haha

Probably not. It would be a lot less lucrative, and honestly I wouldn't like there being recoloured versions of my work that are not up to my pixel standard, even if they paid for the base... This is pretty much the least amount of money I'm willing to sell my art for
