should i use firealpaca for this??? i tried sai and the sketch is waaaay too small and blurry for it

i don't think it's a matter of program used so much as the brush! You want to be using a 1 pixel brush with no anti-aliasing, the lines will come out clear that way. unless you mean after scaling the sketch down? in that case you may just need to be using simpler shapes in the sketch- most details sorta get lost and turn into confusing blur when scaled down that small, so the sketch needs to be pretty large clear shapes if you're gonna draw it bigger than shrink the canvas. ever used shrinkydinks? kinda like that haha... Not sure if this advice is helpful but I'm happy to answer more questions if you need it ^^

how do you scale it down?
i want mine to be 50x50 but right now i am drawing by 100x100

the individual steps for sizing something down really depend on the individual software you're using, google would be more able to tell you how to do that than I am haha. Past the sketch stage sizing down pixel art doesn't work very well, i recommend only lining/colouring at the resolution you want it to be at in the end :0

I am familiar with doing pixelart in photoshop
but this will probably help me go up a notch in my coloring and making of pixelart

For me the contour is always thick (in 50X 50 image)

I just (sai) sketch and lines, (ms paint) color, (sai) shade lines, (ms paint) fill the shades and color the lines, (sai) light lines, and again ms paint fill

I don't know if you're aware, but sai is perfect to do all pixelart in, sou you don't have to switch constantly

I'm not really very familiar with windows, let alone windows RT since I've used a mac pretty much my whole life.
As far as I know there aren't really any good mobile apps for pixel art on any platform... If you want to get into digital art I suggest buying a cheap laptop and a tablet and downloading sai if financially possible. Sai is widely available from peers iirc
