I’m pleasantly surprised to see that my ideas about Susie taking the helm of HWC are now canon. However, she seems much more…sinister than I expected.I did think she had a bit of the ‘mad-scientist’ archetype in her, but not quite that much.
…I kinda like it~

Susie returns as a Dream Friend in Kirby Star Allies looking to rebuild the fallen Haltmann Works Company. Following in the footsteps of President Haltmann before her, Susie remains undeterred in advancing her mission of mechanizing new planets and people alike. However, this was seemingly added to the English localization, as the original Japanese version of her Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go! description simply states that she is following the philosophy that family harmony is in the power of science, providing a happy life, which she seemingly got from a native, presumably Kirby, and is now implied to be planning for the company to follow that directive.

I'm speaking in Reddit terms, where "delet this" is often used to signify that one does not like a particular post - "delet this" also tends to be used as the caption to images of a character menacingly brandishing a gun, to the same effect as the other description.
As the gun clearly has been fired, I think this image would apply more closely to a past-tense form of delet, though this would be the first of its kind in that sense.

Who in the Kirby franchise is nice?? Even Kirby himself does some whack things from time to time. If we only ever shipped characters who were 100% good, we'd probably have a grand total of 3 possible ships.

I mean between Susie and Meta Knight specifically - there would just too much bad karma between the two.
Shipping characters who aren't nice in general is part of the fun (Krabula gave me chuckle, even without me making up that name), but creating a pairing that almost guarantees a hostile, if not outright abusive, relationship, does not sit right with me. You do what you want, but we are all entitled to our opinions - and this one is mine.

I do understand that, but what I don't understand is how you can assume that all these other villain characters wouldn't do the same. There is no canon evidence that, for instance, Kracko wouldn't want to fry Kabula like he fries anyone else who intrudes on his territory. And all the Dark Matter characters are by definition hostile, evil, and deadly. There's more evidence that they WOULD brutally abuse anyone they were in a relationship with than that they wouldn't.
Basically, if you want to judge fictional characters by realistic standards, you should be aware that most of these characters are at best murderers and at worst genocidal warlords. In a word, un-shippable. NONE of it should sit right with you.

I guess my problem is that I ignore most of them, mainly because they don't really interact with each other. The only interaction Kabula is known to have at all, other than shooting at Kirby, is that she's Dedede's personal airship. Plus, both Kloud and Blimp seem to be defending Dedede at Castle Dedede back in Kirby's Dreamland (where you rematch both o them before you fight the fat birb himself).
The way you characterize most of these characters fixes their blatant, unthinking violence and hostility (especially with big bean Dark Mind), but as far as I know, Susie turning Meta Knight into Mecha Knight(+) has not been retconned out. You give these characters depth, history, and actual personality when they previously had none, but Susie's already-existent history (Specifically with MK) makes that particular pairing sit uneasily with me. Put her with almost anyone else (excluding Halty and Star Drielf), and it would be mostly better in my definitely biased mind.
Of course, this all comes down to how horrible the procedure was on the receiving end and how MK would feel about having his will subverted by an outside force.
If it was unthinkably agonizing, he would probably have a massive axe to grind against Soos, but if it was more bearable than having your chest torn open by angst incarnate, he probably would tolerate her a little bit more.
Of course, you do you. You're one of my favorite Kirby artists out there, and I'm sure to enjoy the vast majority of the absolutely adorable art you put up.
