So I think I'm at the point in the storyline where I can start talking about the final battle between Division Six and Void Termina (who also has a final form, which I will hopefully draw in the near future). It would probably be an apocalyptic scenario, where only Magolor and his angels would even be able to survive getting close to Void, let alone fighting him.
And in their darkest hour, when all hope seems lost, he'll have to draw on every bit of extra-dimensional energy he can possibly get in order to win...and this fancy gold skin is the result. Both the Galactic Nova and (previously subtle) Master Crown motifs become even stronger in this design.

Of course, there is a drawback to using this power...I mentioned before that Mags basically made himself a battery for the entire Void Destroyer system. Although he's really more like an adapter-- the energy doesn't come from him, but it must pass through him in order to be used. And the amount needed to finally and permanently destroy a desperate god would take quite a toll on him as it went. Let's just say he's lucky he only had to do it once.

The illustration is supposed to show what Mags would look like after the endeavor: His magic overcoat has gotten a slight upgrade, and his vambraces have changed a bit, too. As for the injuries...most of that will heal. But I think the magic-veins and the Nova-freckles are probably permanent-- the unfortunate result of pushing his vambraces to their limits and abusing the Nova's wish-granting power, to the point of fusing with it.

But despite all the damage he's done to his body, he may have inadvertently made himself more powerful yet again...at this point, is he still the weak link in the Void Destroyer system? Is he still even...human?
