So this piece was an impulse draw that I honestly can't remember what motivated it. But what you do need to know, is that this takes place during one of the planetary campaigns where General Stratos, Hawke and Tal are sidelined from the command staff in lieu of a GAR officer or up and rising Moff (Akin to Tarkin in TCW).

Much to everyone's dismay, the officer makes foolhardy decisions, some are sound and tactical, but clearly disregarding resources especially the lives of the 77th's troopers. But the Jedi and clones of course cannot intervene with the chain of command, especially when pushed so heavily by the Senate. This scene occurs after the messenger and his company are out on patrol under heavy contact. After reporting their situation to higher Headquarters, the GAR non-clone officer realizes that a bulk of the enemies forces are on top of the doomed company, thus he orders all available artillery batteries to begin bombardment- starting with mortars and leveling up to the AV cannons. Realizing their situation, their company leader decides to dispatch our messenger here to warn the nearby base- all whilst being pursued by the natives and droids. I will be drawing some pages on that scene, but the message and impact I wanted to convey will continue on the next page!
