Archie Comics lost me as a reader between 134 and 136 (gotta find my comics for precise issue), when they decided to break them up, and since then I haven't looked back. Even more so when they got rid of Knuckles' love Julie Su. But mostly it was the Sonic/Sally break that drove me away.Β

I heard it was to put Sonic and Amy together because of the Sonic Adventure games -_- But hopefully with Sonic's new home they wont do the same idiotic mistakes like issue 134 and when they got rid of Knux's girl.

Best couple in Sonic history and SatAM made Sonic better than the games' continuity and should have been part of the main continuity.
Plus Sally makes a way better big sister or aunt to Tails than the other heroines (Amy, Blaze, Sonia, Fiona, Sonar, Dulcy).

This is a pretty picture. Like the way they're resting, like everything is just fine and they can focus on their relationship and don't have to worry about Eggman. It just makes me happy ^^

There is also a fanfiction that is a cross between Mouline Rouge and Sonic. Just replace Satine with Sally and Christian with Sonic. It is incredibly well written and follows the film right down to the letter, just replace everybody else in the cast with the cast of Sonic and we have a tragic, but romantic story that needs to be seen to be believed. Have you heard of Sea3on? It is basically Sonic Satam in webcomic form (unofficial in all but spirit). The people working on it were able to acquire the notes containing drafts of the unaired Season 3 from head writer and creator Ben Hurst before his (sniff) untimely death in 2010. Now, they are carrying on his legacy by giving closure to the series that inspired it all.
Also, do not let the fact that it is a webcomic deter you. It stays completely canon to the source material with various call backs to previous seasons. These guys are hardcore Sonic Satam fans, to the point that they are still hard at work on animating their comic. They already hired the voice actors, with their audition and try out vids posted on YouTube (funny as hell 
Just felt I needed to tell you, but on the off chance that you were already aware of this, then that's okay. By the way...you wouldn't happen to be in league with them...would you?
