ThienCatVu just used a very clever friending bait. I bit. And it's a cute site, too.

It must be summertime, with folks in their warm-weather kit. They all look healthy and happy, which is lovely to see. Stintz looks to be in racing trim, too!
I've got these nice markers and the manga paper, I'll have to give them a try again, your pointers above are very helpful.
Heh, parties in the afterlife you *must* attend? Hmm, not quite paradise?

Stinz thinks he can give Pfirsich orders.

I notice the word "thinks". Stintz is a stallion, of *course* he figures people in the herd will obey. Being Reichish probably doesn't mitigate the mindset, either.

Oh, no, he's right at home. The German totem animal is the horse.

Coooolness. Nice to see Peach "fitting in" to a point. (What choice does he have at THIS point? ) and Stinz "dressed down" too.
I don't dare do markers...you have the knack for it, I don't. Last time I tried markers I screwed up bigtime. Felt like punching a wall.
(that's where my Corel Painter comes in. )

He actually doesn't have to do these things -- he's just bored, and Reichers are happy to butt in and help.
No, markers is just PRACTICE. Hint: Less is more. Be light and delicate. I used watercolor for basic skin tones, too.
Think of the marker as a little round oil brush. Don't layer. Be sparing. Think carefully about color combos.
Bare paper is your friend. And if you decide to try again, post and let me see!

Thanks for the little "tut". What kind of paper do you use? I doesn't look like the kind I use (sketch paper, mostly for soft pencil and charcoal). That might make a difference, for me anyway.
Yes, if I do something WORTHY of parking the peepers upon, I'll upload it. What kind of markers? I used Crayola and sharpie. Ugh. Half my problem right there? I figure it's mostly technique, talent and PRACTICE.

Manga sheet -- it likes marker. Faber Castell Art Pens. More brush-like. If you're using sharpies, think crosshatch and colored lines. Technique and PRACTICE, yes. Everybody has talent.
