Description
First of a series of doodles that are exercises to work on my digital painting and drawing. When I get to the point where the results are consistent and I'm happy with them I'll start adding titles and captions.Related content

Thank you so much Dungeonguy! I am not very happy with the doodles so far but they are just doodles so I'm going to keep working at it! I'm determined to keep at it for a year and see if I can improve!

Guess that's why they call them doodles, lol. I can't imagine how long one of your artworks takes to create, just editing photos tests my patience sometimes! But the results are well worth it

OK now color me jealous!! I took up 3D art to hide the fact that I was sketching, drawing and pencil art impaired and look what you make here? She is absolutely gorgeous! I love the curves and the pose. Her hair is awesomely done. I would have to say that it looks like her hands gave you a little trouble but from a guy whose stick figures look like Quasimodo, I can't say to much. I really love the tilt of her head and her expression it really adds life to the image and completes the scene. All in all an outstanding piece of work Donna and I can't wait to see more of your doodles.

Wow... thank you for all the very nice comments Roy! I don't think I'm very advanced at sketching or drawing because it does not come to me naturally, but I hope to get better with time and as I have more time I'll post more doodles

It is obvious that you are using your skills as a 3D artist especially with the pose aspect of this doddle. Sometimes it is the things that don't come naturally to us that end up being one of our best attributes. You say this is a mere doodle, if that is so once you sit down and commit yourself to a true drawing I see it as being a truly spectacular piece of work.
