Daz3d render in 3Ddelight with a genesis model.
This is the first 3Ddelight render I have done in two years or more. I have been working virtually exclusively in Reality->Lux as I really wanted to master the near photo quality that one gets in Reality. I've learned a lot in the last two years working with Reality and I decided to try to do a straight 3Ddelight render for a change (mostly because they render much faster). Its obviously not near-photo quality, but its a unique finish and I found that working with lighting effects, especially dramatic lighting effects, is a quite a bit easier.
Anyway, its a different style from my normal, I'm interested in your thoughts.

Fantastic lighting, sensual and evocative of the possibilities if your meet her standards...a little top heavy in my book, but she has an awesomely beautiful bottom, the white/grey lingerie was a perfect choice with accentuate her figure!! I would say you've mastered both!!

I think I'd prefer this version for it's lighting effects, but with this work, I think a lot of the appeal is also due to your imagination and the way you brought a temptation like to a visual result. Not quite a eye-grabbing with it's reality, but it's more obvious art and an attempt at 3D reality.
She's a bit top-heavy for my own personal tastes, but I'm not the one doing the hard part here. And it's not like there aren't any women out there who aren't endowed pretty close to her.
Like always, your artwork always seems to grab the viewer's attention!

Glad I'm not the only dude that goes for your more usual girls and their more real life, and appealing shapes. Not that I don't occasionally have issues making eye contact with a new Hooter's girl, but I think my eyeballs are more calibrated to a woman with great legs accented by appropriate curves above

Hmmm....Amongst all these comments, I hate to be the one to say this, but I really, really really really do prefer your Reality images! Even though the lighting's well executed, 3Delight's letting you down, I feel; the lighting's dramatic, granted, but the eyes seem dull and lifeless, and the image gives the over all feel of an old playstation 1 game or something. I hate to sound so negative, but I see (and enjoy) a -lot- of your work, so please don't feel like I'm attacking you or anything! You're a fantastic artist! I really do hope you stay with Reality, I'm not a fan of this 3Delight style at all - although plenty of other people are, so this is my opinion rather than any fault on your part, if you understand!

I too prefer reality images... but I wanted to experiment and I do think for certain subjects it has a place. It won't be my primary or favorite render engine but I will experiment around with it so more and see if I can tease a bit more out it (much as I do with the SL snaps).
Oh, and don't worry about your comments --I enjoyed hearing your perspective and you were very polite and clear presenting your views --thank you again!

Great lighting effects. I think when tweaked properly you get excellent results with 3Ddelight. This image proves the point. The hatchet-like lighting set up helps show off the skin texture, with shadows that look pretty real (though a touch of softness might be appropriate - arm shadow does look a bit harsh.)
As to the other aspects... Great pose and expression. Nice selection of lingerie.
To prove you can't please all the people all the time, I have to disagree with babscdli a bit. While I am not a fan of 'beanpole' figures, I think she is a bit overly endowed. (And I consider myself a dirty old man). But my reason: the texture of the flower on the bra seems to be stretched and that flattens that texture a bit compared to the detail of the bra strap just past the cup. It might be fixed with a bit more bump adjustment on the bra cup surface (if that's possible - not sure which model and how it's texture mapped... could all be one surface.)
But from a fantasy pinup type figure, well executed

I have several comments about how.... um... endowed, she is and I think that's an issue with the original genesis model I used. The stretching of the bra material, I think, is a function of applying a bra/texture made for V4 to genesis1.

Exceeds my expectations and reasonable needs or uses. Probably exceeds the Youngs Modulus for any structural material short of graphene carbon sheets, helically rolled and then woven into suspension cable. Must shift her center of mass to about 5 cm in front of her navel. Well done Donna ... or should I say well out done.
