Description
Part 1/4.Based on some things that happened to me in the original Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal versions.
Lots of copy/paste in this first part of the comic - turn-based games seem to lend themselves toward this kind of thing.
Yeah... it takes Kurt the same amount of time to make three Pokeballs as it does for Totodile to evolve into Feraligatr.
I like how Navy looks in this one (Navy is the Feraligatr's name).
The later parts feature less copy/pasting if you have a problem with that. I already have the later parts drawn up - I just need to tidy them up a bit and add colour and shadows... and everything else.

That's kind of what would happen to me on gold version. I never really knew what materials made what poke'balls, I just gave them to him from time to time. XD Then again, being 10 years old didn't really help..

That is so true. I hope they nix Kurt in the remake, but keep the headbutting tree for pokemon, or make the odds of catching an Aipom early in the game much better then the odds in Platinum.

Oh yeah Heavy Ball, best ball ever. I thought I would never use that thing until I fought lvl 70 Lugia with a lvl 50+ Lapras.
One epic battle involving 2 hydropumps from lugia and 2 lullabys, 1 icebeam and 1 surfer from Lapras, both were below the 1/3 HP mark.
Fearing for the "death" of Lapras, I browsed my inventory.
Then I saw that Heavy ball and I tought: Doesn't that bird way a ton or something?

One Heavy Ball later Lugia was mine

Yeah, the one ball at a time thing was just stupid - considering you could pick so many Apricorns everyday.

They did fix that when Crystal came out - that way you could collect the different apricorns a day, then what I would do is give Kurt the type of apricorn which I had the most of, and so on..
You wouldn't happen to know how I would be able to get my hands on any of the event pokemon, would you?

I can't seem to connect my DS to my router, so I can't trade you any event Pokemon I'm afraid (mine are pro action replay hacked anyway - because I never get any events where I live).
It kinda sucks not being able to play my DS online.

Kept telling dad he should have gotten one, but no, he had to get one so he would need a cable going all over the place, which has now become faulty.
