Description If 'A Latias Among the Leaves' [link] can be seen as an experiment in excess, this piece can be seen as an experiment in minimalism.

Sasuke is my favourite character from the 'Mystical Ninja' series - never to be confused with the character from Naruto.

That's a really good piece, I like how he emerges from the background. Though it's pretty minimalistic, it still looks very detailed. The Japanese characters and the gears are a nice addition.

I never played MN all that much, but I remember playing as Sasuke a lot. Never thought I'm going to see something MN related again haha

Yeah, somebody made a remark about Yu-Gi-Oh! and Mystical Ninja both being made by Konami, so that might explain the similarities.

I like how they are also Yu-gi-oh monsters. It's the exact same Sasukes cause YGO and MN were both made by Konami.

This also make a bitchin' wallpaper.

I've never heard of the series before but it sounds good.

This would make a nice wallpaper.

It's been so long since I've played the Mystical Ninja game for the N64. Sasuke was my favorite among the rest of the characters, and this is a very suitable background for him.

Indeed, do not confuse this Sasuke with the emo from Naruto. (Also, I think this is the guy Sasuke Samurai is based on.)

ANOTHER NARUTO JOKE

Nice background! I prefer backgrounds that are a bit busy, but this one looks good for minimalist enthusiasts :d I love how Sasuke seems to come out of the shadows.
Man, so many memories. I have to get around playing these games again.

Actually, the Sasuke I know is the Yu-Gi-Oh cards Sasuke Samurai, Sasuke Samurai #2, Sasuke Samurai #3, and Sasuke Samurai #4

Lazengahn In reply to writemaster93 [2010-12-14 07:41:56 +0000 UTC]

Konami made this game, and yugioh. The cards Goe Goe the gallant ninja, and Ninja lady Yae are also from the game. even Solid Snake is in yugioh. Konami tends to "reference" themselves. alot.

Actually, those cards are based on this Sasuke! Konami has a habit of throwing shoutouts into their cards. There are always a few different cards for Yae and Goemon!

I don't know anything about 'Mystical Ninja', but this is another background worthy piece.

I'm sure anyone who's a fan of the series would promptly use it.
