Description
More Tsutaja, the "Grass Snake" Pokemon - which just happens to have arms and legs. This was an experiment in trying to speed up my comic artwork - I stripped out a lot of the unnecessary processes and flashy artwork effects to focus on pushing out a comic as quickly as possible.
I finished this comic in around 6 hours, give-or-take. This is about 1/10th of the time it has been taking me to finish comics previously.
I'll probably be aiming to create comics in this new style from now on, but I do have some older unfinished comics which use my old artworking methods so I'll try to finish those up eventually.
I know I haven't finished the "May Contain Nuts" four-part run yet, but it has become terribly clear to me that I have been giving myself way too much work to do when creating comics.
I've finished the linework for part 4 of May Contain Nuts, but it still needs a lot of work doing to it before I can submit it (don't worry I will put it up eventually).
I had real trouble drawing Tsutaja at first - its eyes are so huge in relation to the rest of its body it took me a good few attempts to get them looking right. I think I have the hang of drawing Tsutaja now though.
Please leave comments regarding my new comic art style if you feel you have something to say.
Update: On 23 November 2010, the Western name for the 'Grass Snake Pokemon' was announced as 'Snivy'.

That was the common spelling back when it was first announced.
I've seen Tsutaja, Tsutaaja and yes, Tsutarja - the 'correct' spelling is a matter of opinion since they are all based on phonetic pronunciation of Japanese characters.
We now know for certain that the English name is spelled 'Snivy'.

Ohhhh I didn't knowwww ok. I don't really like the english names for the new generation though. They sound stupid to me. The Japanese names sound better.

I think Tsutaja/Snivy is actually the only example in Pokemon of ACTUAL evolution. It goes from a lizard like snake with rudimentary arms and legs, to a snake with rudimentary arms, and legs (which DO exist). And then an awesome snake. Sorry if I read to into that.
But very nice comic.

Yeah, I thought that about the evolution thing too - I'm also familiar with how true snakes evolved.
Thanks.

Awesome.
Though on another note I'm glad actual Sevipers didn't actually evolve or we'd be in trouble.

I'm just going by the Pokedex classification which states that Tsutaja/Snivy is the 'Grass Snake Pokemon'.
