I dunno; for a bunch of brown bits floating around in a big glob of green goo, he, or it, looks pretty happy.

Does he? He's certainly not smiling to me. Well the still image doesn't show it, but the occasional thrash and struggle is happening, which actually serves to speed up the process but when you're panicked some people do irrational things, perhaps fortunately for this one, he can't see it happening at this point.

Well, as I've said before, he's not going to die, but probably become a part of the blobs conscious. So if this is something you wanted, try to enjoy the warm gooey transformation into self aware, sentient slime.

Your guess would be as good as mine, but I like to think that death isn't going to happen getting dissolved in the blob. That it's actually a change of body, mind and concious.
