Mothman is an extraordinary owl species that was only recently discovered around 1966 when searching for the REAL Mothman. You see, in 1966 reports came in of a large grey bird-like figure with glowing red eyes soaring over West Virginia. As more and more reports came in a group of supernatural enthusiasts set out at night to catch the illusive Mothman. Instead, they came back with a creature that vaguely matched the description witnesses gave. Glowing red eyes and bird-like. They took it home and called it The Mothman (more formally known as the Virginia Horned Owl), completely leaving the actual Mothman out of the picture and till this day as an undiscovered species.

Nowadays Mothman is a common pet in North America and an internet star, as there are thousands of videos out there of these silly birds doing silly things on a daily basis.
