Description
"It was a memorable night, but the next morning, Dee was very annoyed. Instead of spending some quality time together, her new friend was more interested in playing her infernal portable game. Worse, the sounds from the little device was driving her up the wall. Luckily, it was almost time for breakfast..."-----------------------------
This is part 1 of a 3 part series.

Part 3: [link]
It only seemed appropriate that since she has a tail, she might as well put it to good use. Dee is still discovering abilities she never knew that she had, since becoming the creature that she is now. I like to think that she's a rather versatile predator.
Also, I decided not to go down the macabre path with this series, as I had originally intended. I had some slightly disturbing imagery I was planning to use, but I decided that it was a bit too much and didn't really add anything to the story. So you squeamish types have nothing to worry about, ok?
I decided to do a 'soft' and 'macabre' version of the ending. See Part 3 for details.

If you saw the alternate ending to series on Eka's, you'd have your answer!

You should definetely go on with the macabre path of the series.
For me, and I don't consider myself as the only one, it would be an absolute overwhelming pleasure, so please go on.

Love Dee!
Her new friend deserves whats comming, not taking the opportunity for quality time with Dee... i'd jump at that chance any time.

To be fair, I don't think you'd have to twist Dee's arm to convince her to do something related to vore or eating!

aaw, no disturbing bits? not even on your Eka's?
not seen a lot of tail-vore when she's so... slivette also, i think her tail starts a little high on her spine :S (just my oppinion though)
looking forward to the future pannels though
also, random note... do you have Dee's bio anywhere? i don't know a lot about her other than that she's awesome

Donutwish In reply to zededd [2012-05-19 22:26:24 +0000 UTC]
I wanted her tail a bit higher up than usual, although I think I drew it a bit higher than it is. I don't like the tail too close to the bum because it gets in the way of the bum, visually and functionally.
I think some people associate tail vore with bum expansion, and I'm not in that camp, so in my design, there's a direct link between the tail and Dee's stomach.
Anyway, yeah no dark bits in this little series, unfortunately. It just didn't seem to fit in, especially with the first episode being a bit light hearted.

oh, i agree about the proximity to their arse completley (my character Toxx is a posing nightmare!) but i like to think of it extruding not far from where it would animalistically... i try to keep the spine relativley in place... but that is just around belt-height... or a little lower i find...
actually, i'm not the biggest fan of backside inflation, but i don't mind tail-vore... i preffer it when it's stomach-related myself... i expect this will be one of the better ones
mind if i ask what the dark bits would have been? if you think they're a lill heavy for a comment, feel free to note a reply

Donutwish In reply to zededd [2012-05-21 00:13:07 +0000 UTC]
I'm not a fan of arse-inflation, either, and this won't be one of those. Another thing about the tail - I am very much not a furry/anthro fan, and the lower the placement of the tail, the closer it gets into that territory. So Dee is more along the lines of Cell from DragonballZ in terms of anatomical structure.
As for the dark bits, my original plan was to show the initial stage of digestion inside the tail but from an external view. So imagine the body tightly bound inside the tail and then breaking down in stages.
In the end I decided it didn't need to be shown and would be more effectively conveyed without it, as the viewer would likely imply what was going on.

fair enough... odly, i don't mind furries i preffer scales to fur though
never saw much dragon ball... well... saw a lot but a little happened in it...
sounds pretty cool. more hard vore for the fans
it's safe to say that the viewer can easilly put the images to whatever you imply
actually, random thought, any plans on another unbirth like the hitchiker again in the future?
i know it's random to ask at the beginning of another of your works, but that one remains my favorite of your works XD

Donutwish In reply to zededd [2012-05-21 08:34:58 +0000 UTC]
Here is my problem with furries: they're often drawn with an eye towards a Disney or anime style, which invariably ends up looking overly cute. Cute is fine, but when it's placed in a highly sexual context (especially with violence involved), it doesn't work for me. Actually, the same can be said for anime/manga style in general when it's drawn carelessly. Ok, that's my rant for the day!
Re: unbirthing
I think this is a theme I'll visit again in the future. The concept does appeal to me, and it's probably one of my favourite vore types. I think the hitchhiker series was probably my most popular one to date, so I think unbirthing is more popular than I originally thought it might be.

zededd In reply to Donutwish [2012-05-21 09:01:33 +0000 UTC]
i agree there... but i love details! having a cute, fuzzy anthro where the artist wanted a moving teddy-bear kinda sucks... but you stick that with an artist who wants something that occasionally has to battle their inner instincts? something that is possibly only one meal from feral and knows it?
i write them better than i can ever draw them, but it's lots of fun to have a serpentine character battling the urge to devour some cute little rectptionist because she's scared of him...
oh, unbirhting has as big a following as vore does... but it's an acquired taste to all who behold it... it's so maddeningly varied that when someone like me gets dropped in the middle and tries to adopt it i end up looking like a snake-orgy (the good kind)

Donutwish In reply to zededd [2012-05-21 10:22:45 +0000 UTC]
I find it difficult sometime to include the concept of unbirthing within the umbrella of 'vore', because to be honest, I don't think it belongs there. I still think UB is pretty awesome, though, and it pushes many of my naughty buttons in a good way.
But going back to the furry/anthro thing. Nah, I still can't connect with it. Even when it's drawn-well, I can't relate to it when it comes to vore art. I prefer a large dash of darkness with a splash of the macabre in my vore, and the cutesy style anthros that I see so much of are too jarring to me.
My reaction is kind of like that when I see Pokemon or My Little Pony vore. It's like, "No. No. Some things were designed for children or young people, and it's best that it stay that way."

zededd In reply to Donutwish [2012-05-21 20:02:49 +0000 UTC]
i agree, i think unbirth is different to vore... but i like them both for different reasons...
i understand that... makes pretty good sense... i expect that's because of your love of 'hard vore' and making a serious scenario. pretty simmilar my side. i can't stand things too 'sunshine sparkles'...
as for pokemon and MLP? i think that's... a little out of my legue... they're not furries... they're just cartoon animals till they're anthromorphasized and only then do they even appear on my radar...
we work with our variety :S someone must like it i guess... jsut not us haha!

Ugh, that's another personal hate of mine - anthromorphized MLP. My blood pressure rises every time I see those. I have no problem with people drawing them, but it's hard to avoid seeing them since I'm a bit of a MLP fan.

personally, if it's done in an ADULT manner, i can apreciate it... but if it's just some cartoony thing, it's just that to me...

The example you linked isn't so bad, since it's an original character, but when I see the mane 6 humanized (especially in an insipid faux anime style), I just groan. Why can't ponies be just ponies?
And, NO, I am NOT a brony! I find the whole MLP fandom to be overdone, to be honest.

hahaaa! well, i'm too much a fan of my cartoons. the good old days of dexters lab and the cartoon-network franchises of old... but the names of the MLP characters alone have kind of put me off giving it too much attention...i'll rather take on my anime XD

If you can ignore the army of its fandom, MLP is excellent and I highly recommend it for what it is. I love anime, too. I need a new series to watch, though. There's too much out there, and I'm not in the loop enough to know what's worth watching right not.

The teasers are always fun to put together. They're also a good example of 'work-in-progress', since the artwork will often have changed since the teaser.

I didn't realize Dee's tail attached so high on her back - most I've seen would have been anatomically an extension of the tail-bone at the base of the spine. Looking forward to seeing what happens next though!
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Donutwish In reply to Psyman2 [2012-05-19 22:13:41 +0000 UTC]
It's a bit higher than usual. I didn't want her tail to be attached right at the tail bone because I think it doesn't look as aesthetically pleasing there. Her tail is multi-functional, so having it placed further up gives it a bit more flexibility for movement.
