when i view your work i see the faults in mine. i seee things i never thought for myself to even even do.
then i look at your work again and realize i have so much more to learn.
you understanding of connecting moving parts is awesome. i love looking at it especially the decepticon symbols. thats the best part!! it relates it to something so much believable in my mind as i can relate it to a distant memory of some random decpeticon..
thanks for making this.. i think for me the best aspect or design element of your art or your concepts are that i see little to none of hard angled shapes.. everything is more flowing and more curvy, for me this is something i like to view more so than the angled mechanoids that i also love to see.
i think you are opening the genre boundaries with this as your exploration to its entity is pure dopeness!!

That's some nice work! Might I ask, what's the polycount? And how long did it take to model?

Donvius In reply to chwaga [2010-04-11 12:46:13 +0000 UTC]
The polycount is something around 5 000 000 And it took me more or less one and a half of a month

holy shit man. Now you gotta remesh it and rigg it for animation and you still gotta hand paint new textures and UV it too. YIKES!!! hahah jk good job.

brilliant work
now make another equally kickass awsome detailed robot and make them fight
that would surely put you on the front deviantART page

Well thats excacly the plan that is already in motion (The second robot already has its lower feet done)... But im realy afraid of the animation part

ah im sure you could do it with a bit of practice
i kinda suck at animation
its the rigging of these beasts that will be the hardest part i imagine
you should at least have a go

Donvius, you crazy mecha nut. Always doing the ridiculously-detailed models, eh?
