yeah, i know. you didn't expect a deviation with a name such as this to be in this category, but i couldn't really find another category to put this one in.this photo was taken on the road to hana in Hawaii this past summer.
anyway, full view this one to see it better. thanks.

ironic - my roomate and i were just chatting the other day about mailboxes (she's from a small town in new york, where boxes like these are the norm.. whereas, me.. being a city gal and all....

The uneven mailboxes are obviously a key element in this shot (duh yokom!), providing the perfect tempering of the natural v. the man-made.
The foggy haze is really very spectacular as well.

Dman, I really love this shot, definetly my fav out of the two you jsut submitted! I love how the road has a nice slight arch, the colors here are fantastic too! Nothing is garish or over the top. Just sweet beauty all over. I love composition in this piece, how the mailboxes lead you up to the slight hint of the mountain in the distance in the fog. Nice work!
