The Tittle Page for Space opera with the tittle part cut off because I like it better without. I actually spent way more time than i was planning on this but it turned out good enough that I don't mind.Pyro's looking a little green and stripey because in this verse he doesn't have to try as hard to blend in. He's also not as affected by Jamie because to him music is always like that so he's built up a tolerance. He's more interested in how it's affecting others.
This is Jamie's first time spawning a musical number. her reaction when she realizes what she's done is HILARIOUS!

Oh MAN, that is REALLY awesome, Doodles! I absolutely love how this picture came out! Jamie's stance combined with the green musical notes just looks fantastic, and Pyro being over there poking one of the participants adds that extra note of humor. I also can't help but notice that a certain familiar porcupine dude looks oddly unaffected on the side... Is there a hidden reason for that, I wonder?
Anyhoo, definitely faving this one. And I've got one more question: is this scene from the same event as the comic you did wherein she got an entire district singing "We Will Rock You"? The setting looks familiar.
I am very much looking forward to this comic coming out, if I didn't make that abundantly clear before.

Yes this is indeed the same event. Porcupine owl guy over there is one of the many guys in that open air bar providing percussion. He's tone deaf though so not as affected as everyone else.

I'm glad you picked one I know so well, I recall it being a ton of fun to read because I could actually hear the song playing to the lyrics in my head.

Wow, this is amazing! Love the atmosphere, the depth, the..weird creatures! xD The colors blend very well with each other. Going for warmer/redder colors in the BG to contrast against the neon green was a smart move, the whole piece is pulled together that way. How did you get that awesome texture on the trees??? Good way of placing Jamie as close to the middle as you could without centering her completely.

Thanks. I always have liked the red green contrast but I think this is the first time I've really pulled it off. The tree texture happens when you take a picture of a treeline, put it on an overlay layer then spottily bang the brush tool down to mimic the shadows the picture shows you.
