OMG it terrible! my poor sketches are naked for the world to see. Oh the shame!And since there was so much thought in this page spoken words have bubbles around them.
OK now that I have that out of my system this really was pretty weird to make. not only because of the color issue but also because I was faced with the challenge of portraying how Jamie perceives sound. Theres a good long explanation of this in the comments of the second part of this page.

Aaah, I digress. XD ; Okay! So here, Jamie finds out about Climber's main predicament *cough*inatotallycoolglowysequence*cough*. Whoo, s'cuse me. But yes, this too was pulled off nicely, and the idea of her being able to see his energy through song is really neat. X3 It also makes sense that she doesn't have to use too much breath to see it, cause... I dunno, I just kinda feel like it'd take more to be in tune with something NOT being kept alive by an outside source. Like... his energy is slightly weaker.
Gosh, I wish I was better at explaining things. XD ;;
Either way, it's very interesting. I also like how the word bubbles look now, and Climber happily talking about Clarice has got to be the most adorable thing I've seen all week. @_@

Glad you like the glowy because here soon you are going to be getting a lot of it. Since I have no Idea how to put music to a comic and even less of an idea how to get the songs in my head out into the real world, (I'd need an orchestra) glowy is the only way I have to show Jamie's power.

I think the limited color on this one is actually better than if you'd tried to do full color, it lets you see Climber's energy better.

You know i kinda agree except the non glowy ones are so colorless.
